This story is from Northern Writes 3, Entries from the 1995 NWT Writing Contest. Medevac: December 24th 1986 is about a young nurse who has to go to Yellowknife on a medevac on Christmas Eve. She meets the pilot who helps her change her life for the better. The story is about making changes and having hope.
