With federal funding NALES undertook the Strengthening Literacy and Essential Skills Development and Labour Market Outcomes across Northern Canada for Adults with Low Skill Levels project. The goal is to support northerners in each territory to build literacy and other essential skill for work, focusing on the tourism sector, the service industry, and traditional skills development.
